So true, Mark. Whenever I talk to other dentists who worry that they&#039;ll struggle with the problems and challenges of other careers, I always tell them that it&#039;ll likely be NOTHING compared to what they endure in dentistry. I also think, as you mention, the point is to reflect on it, so you can see how much stronger you are.]]></description>

<p>So true, Mark. 					<description><![CDATA[I think you hit the nail on the head when you said in the article basically that you can’t expect to build resilience through a lifetime of smooth sailing. As much as I would have liked to be on that boat, it’s not realistic and actually I think my struggles with Dentistry as a job have gone on to help me in so many other ways other than becoming more resilient. 
When you experience problems or struggles although terrible at the time it allows you the benefit to be able to reflect on these afterwards and in doing so more able to have the tools to cope with further struggles in the future- which as we know is part of the course, so far better to be prepared.]]></description>
