I wrote a comment offline and now it's gone! In the cyber three guys are talking in world-record words per minute spanish, and a loud video is playing, and for some reason it's hard to think or write!!! Suffice to know that you are in my thoughts, and I hope that this new year smiles on you from jan thru december!

In reply to <a href="https://www.lolabeescareercoaching.com/the-illusion-of-control/#comment-5058">Mark</a>.

Thanks so much, Mark. I agree completely. It's hardest for me to let go when I still think I have a chance of changing something. Once I resign myself to the fact that I really can't control it, it makes it easier to let go. It still does bother me though. I didn't get too detailed in my post because I try to be succinct in my writing, but there were still moments that I was annoyed all the way up until the day of my chemo. I guess we want what we want! Oh well, at least the charge was just a little less. Acknowledging is a great next step! Would be interesting to see what you start to notice as you do this more.

Wishing you a very happy and healthy New Year!

Hoping all went well on the 28th and that 2019 will be a healthy happy year.
It’s a very interesting point that letting go of things that we can’t control reduces our suffering. It’s eaier said than done but certainly something worth working on. I like to try and control situations which in all honesty are out of my control. Acknowledging and accepting that is the next step.
