In reply to Mark. Mark, yes! That is too funny. I don't know how we always seem to read each other's minds. I think we get desensitized again over time. I love remembering my dental career and the challenges just so it reminds me how grateful I really am to be doing something I love now. Good thing is that whenever I get my annual reminder, I usually write about it, so you can use that as your annual reminder too! We should remember and be grateful more often though. I think it's all about being intentional about it from time to time.

How funny I was just thinking today about being grateful. I sometimes need to remind myself about how much happier I am now than I was when I left dentistry but as you say the feelings of the past have all become a bit fuzzy. I guess it’s a good job really that I feel this way as must mean I have moved on emotionally from my dental career.
