Ha! This is what I love about blogging. There is always someone to prove a generalization wrong! Sounds like you have good reason to be a proponent of old flames– it all worked out the right way for you.

I may have dramatized it a bit, but going back to my old job was more of a good thing than a bad thing. It served its purpose for both parties involved. The interesting thing is that nothing really changed the second time around– except me. 😉

I’ve gone back to my current job three times. Three times!!! Geez. For shame.

Anyway, third time was the charm. I’m loving it this time around, more than I ever thought I could love a job.

Then there is my wife…
I broke up with her back when we were dating. And after a year of pleading, she took me back.
So I’m a reasonable strong proponent of old flames. 🙂
