Wow, this is huge!! Sounds magnificent. I would do it but it sounds too much for me to be capable of. I have been to the Philippines, that’s it – no great “3 photos to go with your entry” etc.

You know, I don’t really make bucket lists. I guess I just do stuff I want to do. 😉 Travel is always at the top for me too. I don’t think that’s lame at all, unless you’re calling me lame too. 😉

I’m so glad to hear from you, Rinku. I think you are doing all the right things. You are so lucky to have other interests. I hope to get the opportunity to read some of your work in the future. Are you getting any closer on your book?? I truly believe that it doesn’t really matter if you win in this case because it’s more about the process. I can attest to what you are experiencing. When I was so unhappy in my job and spent a lot of energy focusing on the first travel contest I did, the Sunday night blues were so much better! I had something else in my life, so I could focus on that and what the future might hold instead of worrying about how much I didn’t want to go into work “tomorrow.”

In reply to Ingrid. Not yet, but I am working on it! The fun is definitely in making the video. You should do it! You could bring your husband along... why not extend the 4 month trip another 6 months.

You are absolutely right – start exploring the opportunities out there ! I certainly am , I’ve joined Oxford uni writing course just to make me focus and started entering photography competitions ( v much a beginner !) not to actually win, but to allow myself to explore what I enjoy .
And believe me there is a lolabees community . Last night , 2 dentist friends ( one Australian , one Portuguese) and I will having a good chuckle at your “10 reasons …” . Thank you for your fab blog x
Ps. Since exploring and starting my other ventures I don’t get the Sunday night blues ( that much !)
