Thanks, Dink, for the thoughtful comment. The humore of your comment is that the contest I entered is all about being real. I’m still getting my act together trying to figure out how I want to write the post. Elvis was so cool in that clip, wasn’t he? I like how you come across, in your videos, as a real person without all of the fake polish and car salesmanish rhetoric. Whether you have good news or bad, your videos always make me smile. Have you ever watched Elvis in some of his early interviews? A significant part of his charm was that he had something to say, and he didn’t always feel the need to sound like Bob Barker when he said it! Here’s an example that I love to watch, and as an aside, Dick Van Dyke did a brief satire of this in one episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show.
